Fresh Habaneros

Habanero Peppers

Cook 2 pounds of habanero peppers with 1/4l vinegar, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1/2 onion, 1 banana and some garlic for about half an hour. Puree everything and you have a great hot sauce. Yummy!

I used a mix of Red Savina and Orange Habaneros. The sauce is called “This Ass is on Fire”.
